INTRO:
This is the latest scenery file for Cabo Rojo, Dominican Republic (MDCR).

Margarita Air Club is a virtual flying club based in the Caribbean that beleives that flying on the simulator should be FUN, not a chore. If you like what you see, please visit our website at http://www.margaritaair.com.

DESCRIPTION:
This file is intended to COMPLETELY replace the older versions of scenery designed for Cabo Rojo (cabo_rojo.zip). This file, written in xml language and compiled using the new FS2004 SDK's should be compatible with all near-future versions of MSFS (or at least thats what they promise - LOL).

Once installed, you will see Cabo Rojo Airport, along with its paved runway and all the airport buildings.

In addition you will find a little "surprise experiment", located to the east of the airport, the Dominican R/C Airfield, a small radio-control aircraft facility. This "airport" will show up on your GPS, but is intended only for the RC AI Traffic files that are included in this download.

AI Aircraft traffic has also been added to Cabo Rojo. Planes in company colors will be performing T+G's and scheduled cargo runs to some of the neighboring islands several times per day.

INSTALLATION:
If you currently have a previous file for MDCR (cabo_rojo.zip), you must first COMPLETELY REMOVE that file, and the original AF2_MDCR.bgl (the AFCAD file for MDCR) wherever it is located. Once you have done this, follow the following steps:

1) From your main FS menu, go into your Settings/Scenery Library and delete the previous file for Cabo Rojo (cabo_rojo.zip).
2) Close FS9
3) Find your FS9/Addon SCenery folder (or whatever folder you stored the original Cabo Rojo file in) and cut and paste the older file to another location (My Documents, etc). This way, if you decide to reinstall you will still have the file.
4) Place the entire MDCR file in your FS9/Addon Scenery folder
5) Restart FS9, go to Settings/Scenery Library and ADD the folder MDCR.
6) Close FS9 again.
7) Go back into your MDCR folder and place the AI Traffic.bgls in your FS9/Scenery/World/Scenery folder.
8) Place the files included in the RC Aircraft folder in your main FS9 Aircraft folder (These are the AI aircraft for use at the RC airfield)
9) Restart FS9 and go to MDCR.

If you are doing a fresh install with no previous version of MDCR, simply start with step #4 above.
